Sea Fantasy , acrylic on canvas , cm 60 x cm 60 , Lido delle Nazioni , 2026 .
Original work by the Italian painter Alessandro Tognin.
This work represents a harmonious chromatic fusion between the primordial energy of nature and conceptual abstraction.
Characterized by a vibrant palette and a strong material impact, the canvas invites the viewer to immerse themselves in a marine dimension where the shapes are simplified to make room for the pure force of color.
Perfect for embellishing contemporary design spaces, professional studios or private collections.
In Sea Fantasy, matter makes fluid emotion and color breaks the boundaries of reality. Through dense, decisive and rich brushstrokes of chromatic contrasts, the sea ceases to be a simple landscape to be transformed into an introspective and deep path.
An abstract dance of marine nuances that captures the eternal movement of the waves and the most secret part of the soul.”
The sea is not only a physical place, but a state of mind.
With ‘Sea Fantasy’ I wanted to translate on the canvas the invisible force of currents and the magic of the abyss, using color as the voice of my deepest emotions.
Alessandro Tognin is an Italian painter born in Occhiobello (Rovigo) in 1981.
Since childhood he showed a spontaneous and visceral attraction for drawing and painting, undertaking from a very young age a path of independent research that led him to develop a strong mastery of chromatic matter and canvas techniques.
His production is located in a border territory between expressionism and conceptual abstractionism.
In his works, the form is deliberately simplified to give way to the absolute power of color, which dominates the canvas through dense, marked, vibrant brushstrokes and rich in contrasts.
The central core of his poetics is based on the study of movement and the decomposition of lived reality: nature, figures and primordial elements are stripped of their purely figurative guise to be returned to the viewer in the form of pure fluid emotion.
Tognin’s work is distinguished by a deep introspective intent. Each painting becomes a fragmented narrative, a visual bridge capable of capturing the energy and fragility of contemporary society, dragging the observer into an enveloping and disarming aesthetic experience.
During his career, the artist has exhibited his works in prestigious national and international exhibition frames – including exhibitions and collectives in Barcelona (Casa Batlló), Berlin and Padua – with constant interest from critics, galleries and collectors of modern art.
Today he lives and works in his studio in Occhiobello and Lido delle Nazioni promoting his artistic vision through the official online gallery Dreamsart.
